A&P Designs, originally established in the late 1970’s as a family design and planning consultancy, The practice has evolved to serve both Commercial, Retail, Industrial as well as maintaining its strong position in the domestic Planning and Adaptation Market. We are now delivering expert services in Town Planning, Building Control Consultancy, Architectural Technology, Building Engineering and Retail Design, whilst still focusing on the domestic market.
With over four decades of industry experience, covering clients across London, East of England and beyond, advising on development, property improvements and investment projects of all scales.
Our team will act as Principal Designer, both at actual design stage and pre-commencement stage, whilst working alongside a trusted network of associated professionals and consultants to guide projects from initial concept and planning through to successful delivery.

Building Control Specification and Engineering
- Approval and Building Control assessment and estimate
- Production of the Building Control specification drawings
- Consultant Engineer estimate and instruction
- Inclusion of Engineers’ details to specification drawings
- Building Control Applications and Administration
- Public Sewer Advice and Diversion Applications including liaison with the relevant Water Authority where applicable

Should you decide to cease works part way through the project, our responsibility as the Principal Designer will pass to yourself or your chosen Principal Contractor (Builder).
